Large Treskilling

‘Big T’ is arguably the jewel in the club’s crown. It’s a 19 Swim 12-acre specimen carp lake set in a SSSI site. It can be a challenging water to fish but for the carp anglers who take the time to learn its secrets, the results are worth waiting for.

Apart from the big carp to 36lb, Treskilling is also the Club’s premier pike fishery with fish reported well in excess of 30lb. Vehicles can drive around the lake and easily access the swims, no need for a barrow! Silver fish are also present for the pleasure angler with Perch, Tench, Bream Roach, Rudd and Eels, it is a very entertaining water.

The depth varies from a few feet in the back bay to a mind bending 70ft.
